The Chief-of-Staff will serve as the Alderman's chief advisor; will lead the development and implementation of policy objectives, strategies, and operating plans for the Alderman's office; will manage and direct all activities and staff; coordinate the activities of the Alderman with committee offices, the public, and the media; maintain the Alderman's official schedule and official records; and act as principal liaison.
The Legislative & Policy Director will advise the Alderman on all legislative areas, develop policy positions and legislative initiatives, conduct extensive research on ward and city-wide issues, and lead the Alderman's economic development initiatives in the ward.
The Constituent Service Director will oversee the operation and implementation of all constituent services; acts as a liaison to municipal, state, and federal agencies for the Alderman and constituents; and answers casework correspondence and verbal communications with constituents.
The Deputy Constituent Service Director will assist the Constituent Service Director in the delivery of timely and quality constituent services; acts as a liaison to municipal, state, and federal agencies for the Alderman and constituents; answers the telephone and answers constituent requests for general information, and other inquiries; and answers casework correspondence and verbal communications with constituents.
